First premiered in Vienna in 1888, Die Puppenfee is set in a toy shop in St Petersburg in the1850’s whereby when night falls the dolls miraculously come to life when the fairy doll invites them to a ball. This charming ballet was one of the most successful productions in the late 19th century – it is a true and rarely staged gem not to be missed!
Die Puppenfee featured the divine company artists and the emerging talent of our youth company artists. The Triple Bill program also included a stunning new classical choreography "Dreams" by Luanne Hyson and contemporary choreography "Conspire" by Caroline Ellis performed by the artists of Dancebourne Arts.
